SAN DIEGO, CA - George Chamberlin, host of the popular show “Money Matters” on KNSD-TV, discussed the successful operations and growth of Circle Foods, San Diego’s leading manufacturer of frozen and refrigerated ethnic delicacies, set to air on Saturday, August 1st at 5:00 p.m.

“Money Matters” delves into the inner workings of San Diego’s most compelling, innovative and inspirational businesses that not only positively impact markets throughout the United States and globally, but locally as well. Chamberlin’s interviews with those business leaders are refreshing and insightful as he elicits not only facts but the very real human side of growing a successful enterprise. KNSD-TV is the NBC affiliate for the San Diego market where it is broadcast on Channel 7.

The segment interview with Eric Brenk, President and COO of Circle Foods, focuses on Circle Foods’ brand new, technologically sophisticated 160,000-square-foot facility that employs 368 workers, making it one of the largest employers in Otay Mesa. The company has grown from a neighborhood tortilla supplier into a major developer, manufacturer and marketer that sells convenience meals to such major retailers as Costco, Whole Foods Market, Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club, and Trader Joe’s. How Circle Foods accomplished this swift expansion into the marketplace will be detailed on the “Money Matters” segment.

Circle Foods crafts several boutique lines of family-friendly ethnic fare including its famous Tortillaland® uncooked tortillas, Nuevo Grille® Mexican dishes, Rotiland healthy and exotic Indian roti bread, and the more elegant La Terra FinaTM brand with favorites such as all-natural, 100% egg white quiche.

“Working with local popular media such as KNSD-TV and host George Chamberlin is a powerful way to open our doors, so to speak, to our community and show how and why we do what we love to do,” says Brenk. “Such stories instill a higher level of trust in our company and our products — as well as excitement about trying them — and we intend to continue to build on that.”

About Circle Foods, LLC
